Reviews and Ratings
Moxons is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and stunning ocean views. However, the dining options are quite expensive, and the beach is not as walkable as I expected. The location offers a taste of the real Jamaica, but be prepared for lots of stairs during your stay.
Moxon's is a unique gem where we experienced amazing hospitality from the staff and beautiful beachfront views. We really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and community feel during a hurricane shelter stay, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable, making for a relaxing escape. However, we encountered a few issues like lack of basic room amenities and the surrounding area being less than desirable, which affected our overall comfort.
This hotel is truly a hidden gem with stunning views over the azure waters and charming accommodations. The staff is incredibly attentive and the restaurant offers delicious Jamaican cuisine. However, the limited beach access and numerous stairs might not suit everyone, especially those looking for a more laid-back experience.
I had high hopes for this hotel based on its secluded charm and beautiful views, but there were several letdowns. The room was nice but struggled with air conditioning, and the dining options were quite limited. The location is picturesque, but some aspects of security and service were concerning, leaving me feeling uneasy about my stay.
